PM Vishwakarma Scheme 2024
PM of India has started a scheme named PM Vishwakarma to help these needy artisans This scheme will not only improve quality but also reach out to the products and services of artisans and craftsmen and bring Vishwakarma into national and global value chains. The purpose of this program is to help Vishwakarma by providing comprehensive end-to-end support to artisans and artisans, enabling them to move up the value chain of their respective professions. Eligibility for PM Vishwakarma
- An artisan or craftsman who works with his hands and tools and is engaged in any of the 18 traditional family businesses listed in the scheme on a self-employed basis in the unorganized sector.
- The minimum age of the beneficiary at the time of registration is that he must be 18 years old.
- The beneficiary must be engaged in the business at the time of registration and must not avail loans under similar credit-based central or state government schemes for self-employment/business development.
- Registration and benefits under the program are limited to one family member. To be eligible for benefits under this scheme, a “family” is defined as consisting of a husband, wife, and unmarried children.
- Government servants and their families are not covered by this system.
